Obituary

Patricia Ann Strang Weber was born on November 3rd, 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri. She passed away on January 11th, 2022. Her parents were Virgil and John Strang. She went to Notre Dame de Sion High School and the University of Kansas. She was a Chi Omega. Her major was physical therapy. She married Dr. Robert W. Weber on June 14th, 1949 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Kansas City, Missouri. They lived in Wisconsin and Illinois, and in 1961 they moved to Salina, Kansas.

Pat was active in her church, Christ Cathedral, where she taught Sunday School and was a prayer circle member. Her P.E.O. Chapter BW and the medical auxiliary were important to her. She was a board member of the Friends of the Library, the Salina Community Theater, and St. Francis Boys’ Home.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, bridge, and traveling. On her travels, she liked sailing, snorkeling, and cruises.

Pat is survived by her children Carol Linnens (Barry) of Cedar Point, KS, William Weber (Aaron Starr) of San Francisco, John Weber of Salina, and Joseph Weber (Uvon Tucker) of Chicago; four grandchildren, Dr. Chris Rupe (Dr. Abbey) of Salina, Patrick Rupe (Kylie) of Des Moines, Laura Rupe Bevier (Jared) of Northville, MI, and Logan Peifer of Kansas City; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A private, family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to Christ Cathedral Episcopal Church, 138 S. 8thStreet, Salina, KS.
