Richard Michael “Mike” Tyner, 45, of Salina, KS, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born in Salina on December 27, 1979.
Mike grew up in Salina and graduated from high school in Stafford, KS. He spent time as a warehouse manager for companies in Salina and McPherson and worked at Tony’s Pizza. He enjoyed fishing and golfing and spending as much time as he could with his son and grandkids.
Survivors include his parents, Diane Nemechek and Richard D. Tyner; children, Jasmine Tyner, Daisey Tyner, Lilly Tyner, and Daxton Tyner; grandkids, Oliver, Leo, Elijah, Emiliano, and Esmi; sister, Amy Tyner; niece, Lexi Sneary; and nephew, Gavin Tyner.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Charlotte Nemechek, and George and Vernedine Tyner.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Mike was a big Royals and KU fan, and the family encourages everyone to wear the team colors or their favorite jersey in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina, KS, 67401 to help with funeral expenses.
