Obituary
SALINA - Robert D. “Bob” Bachofer, 92, passed away Monday March 6, 2023 in Olathe, Kansas. He was born July 20, 1930, in Salina the son of Daniel and Margaret Bachofer. Bob graduated from Sacred Heart high school in Salina and served in the Air Force for four years. Bob worked for Southwestern Bell for 35 years, retiring in 1983. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include a son, Brad Bachofer and wife, Jan; daughter, Audrey Wood and husband, Ron; and grandchildren, Adley, Jaden, Avery, and Annie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dee Bachofer; and parents, Daniel and Margaret Bachofer.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. with a Rosary service at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11th in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
Memorials to: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, in care of Ryan Mortuary.
