Roy Lee Albers, 68, of Smolan, KS, passed away November 27, 2025, in Salina, KS. Roy was born April 25, 1957, in Quinter, KS, to LeRoy and Louetta (George) Albers.
Roy was a proud veteran. He served in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1977. He spent most of his life as an automotive body painter, working in various autobody shops. He had a hobby for painting his own vehicles as well.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Louetta Albers; grandparents, Alva and Verna George, John and Mary Albers, and several aunts, uncles, and in- laws.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Robin Kay Albers; children, Crystal (Jamie) Reynolds, Terri (Michael) May, Michael Albers, Weston (Chelle) Albers, Kaylee (Morgan) Hamilton, Kaidee Albers; sisters, Kathy (Charles) Miller, Patti (Ron) Heier, Kristi (John) Munoz; brothers, Jeff (Shelley) Albers; 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 118 N 9th St. Salina, KS. With a Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Elim Lutheran Church, 403 Lincoln St, Marquette, KS.
Burial will follow the service at the Marquette city cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the family is care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St. Salina, KS.
