Ruth C. (Hayward) Nunemaker

Ruth C. Nunemaker, 94, died on August 1st, 2025, at the Bethany Home facility in Lindsborg, KS.  She was born in Salina, KS, October 26th 1930.  She was an assistant nurse for 27 years working at St. John's Hospital and Asbury Hospital.  Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hayward of Salina, Kansas.  She grew up and lived in Salina most of her life. In 1948 she married Ray J. Nunemaker.  

She is preceded by her parents, husband, Ray J. Nunemaker, son, Eugene “Sam” Nunemaker, son-in-law, Andrew Forcier, and great granddaughter, Amy.  

She is survived by her son, Ray Dean (Martie) Nunemaker, daughter, Sally Forcier and daughter-in-law, Diane (Whitesell) Nunemaker. She has 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchild. All were precious to her.  She loved church and God.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday August 7, 2025, at the Emmanuel Foursquare Church, 1325 East Cloud St. Salina, KS. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis, KS. Visitation will be from 4 until 8:00 pm on Wednesday evening at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina where the family will receive friends from 6 until 7 pm that evening.
