Sherril Jan Bieberly

SALINA - Sherril Jan Bieberly, 78, passed away September 14, 2023, and was born March 31, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas, to Mervin and Evelyn (Crawford) Myers. She graduated from Wichita North High School in 1963 and from Kansas State University in 1968. She went on to marry an old flame, from K-State, R. Kenneth Bieberly, on November 23, 1968, and the pair eventually ended up in Salina, Kansas. She raised her two children, and owned the successful Quilting Bee in downtown Salina.

She is survived by; her aforementioned husband and two children, Christopher Bieberly and Kara Maddox (Mike); grandchildren Hana Maddox and Nathaniel Maddox; her sister Vicki Helkey (John); numerous nieces and nephews; and an abundance of quilts and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday September 18, 2023 with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday September 19, 2023 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 East Cloud, Salina.  Fr. Kerry Ninemire will be the celebrant. Inurnment will be in the All Saints Cemetery, Salina, immediately following the service.
