Vickie Jane (Strickland) Bell

Vickie Jane Bell, 58, of Salina, Kan., passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023. She was born on February 21, 1965, in Topeka, Kan.

Vickie loved her dogs and baking pies. She worked for many years with her family at Bayard’s Café in Salina.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivalee (Olson) Kalb and Paul Strickland, and infant sister, Angelina.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin Bell; sisters, Roberta “Birdie” Miller (Jim McCollim) and Doris Strickland; sisters-in-law, Janey Wootan (David), Billie Jo Bell, and Lisa Bell; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 12, at the Salemsborg Lutheran Cemetery, Smolan, Kan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salina Animal Shelter, care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
