Willis "Willie" Bieber, 88, died October 6, 2024, 11:30 pm at Pinnacle Park in Salina. He was born December 20, 1935, in Minneapolis, KS, to Louis and Edna (Bradford) Bieber.
Willis graduated from Brookville High School in 1955 and helped with the family farm until the death of his father.
Willis "Willie B" worked for Colladay Hardware after moving to Hutchinson and then for Dillons Warehouse where he retired in 1996 after 32-1/2 years. He was a member of the TEAMSTERS union.
Willis is survived by: his wife of almost 40 years, Karen (Connie) of Brookville, his Sister, Doris Paul of Topeka, children: Debra Dodge (Mario) of Mission, Wayne Bieber (Salve) of Virginia, Tracy Bieber of Hutchinson, and Troy Bieber (Annie) of Florida; step children: Corbin Phillips (Gina) of Hutchinson, Randy Phillips (Elizabeth) of Florida, Dana Edgerton (Daryl) of Brookville. 8 grandchildren: Michelle, Cassie, Dawn, Erica, Sheridan, Ryan, Heather, Braydon, 10 step grandchildren Emma, Jackson, Lily, Mike, Augusta, Arbor, Nick, Elany, Katelyn, Dalen. Nine great grandchildren, twenty step great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lester, Earl, Clifford, and Donald.
Cremation has taken place. Ryan Mortuary has handled all arrangements.
There will be a potluck dinner of celebration and remembrance on Saturday, November 30th in Brookville at the Methodist church at noon.
