GYPSUM -- Cleala "C.J." Clapper, 61, Gypsum, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003. Mrs. Clapper was born Cleala J. Eikleberry on July 10, 1942, at Salina. She retired as secretary for Frisbie Construction Co. after 26 years. Survivors include her husband, Marion; a son, Robert Clapper of Brookville; two daughters, Teresa Smith of Salina and Laurel Roncase of Ridgecrest, Calif.; her parents, Everett and Marie Eikleberry, of Topeka; a brother, Faran Eikleberry of St. Louis; a sister, Carol Hilson of Rowlett, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. A private burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. |
