Mrs. Forst was born Frances Richard on Dec. 13, 1941, at Concordia. She was the office manager for Vern Forst Motors in Salina for many years and later was a sales agent for Millwood Realty. She was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she was very active in the church and school. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, where she served on the parish council and planning committee. She was active in school support organizations.

Fran married Vern Forst on May 31, 1969, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Salina.

Survivors include her husband, Vern of the home; a son, Dart Forst and wife Leann of Dallas; a daughter, Rene' Jamison and husband Dustin of Overland Park; a brother, Max Richard of Salina; Rose Richard of Glasco; and her two Siamese cats, Bonnie and Clyde.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Salina, the Rev. Frank Coady officiating. Inurnment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Capital Campaign at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church or Hospice of Salina.

There will be no visitation.
