Myrtle B. Huiett, 85, Salina, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003. Mrs. Huiett was born Myrtle B. Young on May 27, 1918, at Salina. She was nurse's aide and an electro-cardiogram technician for Salina Regional Health Center and also did private nursing. Her husband, David E., died in 1983. Survivors include four sons, Frank D. and Richard L., both of Minneapolis, and John A. and Paul D., both of Salina; two brothers, Harold E. Young of Salina and Bob Young of Escondido, Calif.; a sister, Margaret P. Alexander of Hemet, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Grand Avenue Methodist Church, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina. Memorials may be made to the church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, and Friday at the church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. |
