Mrs. Holle was born to Henry C. and Myrtle M. McDonald on December 17, 1916 in Brookville. She was a waitressfor Scotty's Cafe & family for 42 years.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, G.J. "Pete" Holle.

Survivors include one son, Roger Holle of Atchison; two daughters, Joyce Holle of Salina and Esther Meston of Tangent, OR; two brothers, Clarence McDonald of Glasco and Henry McDonald of Canon City, CO; one sister, Opal Vigliotti of Easchester, NY; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grand children; and six great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina. Rev. Charles Adams will officiate. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
