Mrs. Kreitzer was born Mildred C. Merrill on February 11, 1913 in Glen Elder. She was a home maker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Merrill and the former Minnie B. Talkington, and 14 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Kreitzer of Salina; two daughters, Phyllis Birdsong of Salina and Connie Willey and husband Verle of Salina; six grandchildren, Doug Birdsong, David Birdsong, Ron Lamer, Rick Lamer, Cindy Moore and Cheryl Al-Failakawi; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
