Mr. Larsen was born April 6, 1929, in Rexford. He was a welder for Salina Steel.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce, in 1965; and a daughter, Buffy Larsen, in 1986.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth M., of Salina; two sons, Brian and Brent, both of Salina; four daughters, Rebecca Knight of Lenexa, Brenda Shelton of Highland Village, Texas, and Bari Larsen-Kerr and Bridget Larsen, both of Dallas; two brothers, Steve of Salina and Ivan of Kanopolis; three sisters, Esther Steinle of Salina, Agnes Stamm of Valley Center and Rosemary Thomas of Abilene; 15 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina.
