Mrs. Sherrill was born Kathryn Stephenson on August 19, 1910, in Gaylord. She was an office manager for the Salina Airport Authority for more than 20 years, retiring in 1979.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Hardisty of Salina; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. The body was cremated.
