Mr. Temple was born February 1, 1939, in Axtell. He was a retired printer with Salina Blue Print.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia J. of the home; three sons, David Miller of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joseph Miller of Manassas, VA, and James Miller of Shawnee; five daughters, Sarah Miller of Salina, Rebecca Lamer of Colorado Springs, CO, Gayla Genschorch of Hutchinson, Colleen Temple and Jennifer Brown; two brothers, Eldon of Salina and Daryl of Idaho; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the church, Shrine Travel Fund or the MS Society.
