Mrs. Ziegler was born July 8, 1925, at Stacyville, Iowa. She was a registered nurse, working for the former St. John's Hospital in Salina until retiring in 1987.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1988.

Survivors include four sons, Michael of Hutchinson, Randolph of Russellville, Ark., and John and Patrick, both of Salina; four daughters, Rosalind Lewis of Topeka and Carla Ziegler, Marian McNally and Cynthia Ziegler, all of Salina; two brothers, Joseph Spartz of Osage, Iowa, and Don Spartz of Chicago; two sisters, Mary Klug of Omaha, Neb., and Ruth Kramer of Adams, Minn.; her aunt, Dorothy Veal of Salina; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at noon Monday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
