A.K. Bader, 93, Salina, died Saturday, July 9, 2005. Mr. Bader was born Albert K. Bader on May 1, 1911, in Junction City. He was an architectural engineer. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy; a son, Kenneth; and a daughter, Christine Freeman. Survivors include his wife, Mildred; two daughters, Kerin Denning of Overland Park and Jacqueline Bach and husband Richard of Tahlequah, Okla.; a sister, Christine Brownfield of San Antonio; seven grandchildren, Kenneth Denning of Springfield, Mo., Kathryn Denning of Kansas City, Mo.; Jacqueline Denning of Clearwater, Okla., Christine York of Durango, Colo., Michelle Evans of Ardmore, Okla., Kelly Ramsey and husband Randall of Oklahoma City, and Wendy Hunnacutt and husband Tracy of Overland Park; 10 great-grandchildren, Jasper Winn and wife Dana of Bridgeport, Texas, Kevin Hubbard of Decatur, Texas, Beth Brown and husband Mitchell of Holbrook, Ariz., Jaimie Evans of Dallas, Sharee, Shayla and Shane Ramsey, all of Oklahoma City, and Brittany, Jonathan and Emma Hunnacutt, all of Overland Park; three great-great-grandchildren, Kegan and Anna Winn, both of Bridgeport, and Jordan Brown of Holbrook. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials may be made to the church or American Red Cross. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. |
