Mr. Buck was born Sept. 17, 1931, in Meade County. He worked for PKM Steel for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary S. “Molly,” of the home; a son, Karl R. of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Katherine Ruder of Lincoln, Neb., and Karen Buck of Buenos Aires, Argentina; a sister, Charlotte A. Dunbar of Kingman; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, with military honors provided by Fort Riley.
