Mrs. Flores was born Maria Carmen Gamino on May 10, 1934, in Romita, Guanajuato, Mexico. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Jesus Flores Sr., of the home; a son, Jesus Flores, Jr. and wife, Terri of Joplin, Mo.; a daughter, Maria Flores of Salina; a brother, Juan Gamino of Mexico; and five grandchildren, Casey Scott and Taylor James LaFleur of Salina, Maria Gabrielle Flores of Joplin, Mo., and Morgan Michele and Jennifer Lynne Blansit of Joplin, Mo.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, with Father Jarett Konrade officiating. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Salina.

A rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
