Mrs. Garcia was born May 15, 1935, in Abrego F. Zac, Mexico. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Banda.

Survivors include five sons, Manuel Banda of Garden City, Juan Banda and Jose A. Banda, both of Salina, and Fernando Escobedo and Arcadia Banda, both of Great Bend; four daughters, Socorro Rodriguez, Rosa Torres and Delia Settle, all of Salina, and Beatriz Hernandez of Great Bend; three brothers, Jose Garcia and Angel Garcia, both of Mexico, and Francisco Garcia of Salina; 37 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
