Mr. Gullickson was born Aug. 5, 1944, in Tracy, Minn. He was a retired firefighter, engineer and EMT for the Salina Fire Department, retiring in 1999.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy of the home; a son, Kirk of Lawrence; two daughters, Katie Junk and husband Mike of Salina, and Keri Flores and husband Mario of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Wally and wife Linda of Littlestown, Pa., and Wayne and wife Dona of Blooming Prairie, Minn.; his father and mother-in-law, Ted and Katie Versluys of Salina; his grandchildren, Hannah, Kyler, Elyse and Tessa Junk, all of Salina; brothers-in law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Salina 67401. Burial will be in the All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil will be at 6 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
