Mrs. Herron was born Beverly Houdek on Nov. 20, 1933, in Belleville. She was a secretary.

Survivors include her husband, Albert, of the home; two sons, Blaine of Ponca City, Okla., and Shane of Salina; two daughters, Heather Buchanan of Salina and Alane Smith of Clyde; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Chaput Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. Sixth St., Concordia. Burial will be in Belleville City Cemetery.
