Mr. Mindrup was born Oct. 25, 1916, in Norton County. He was a farmer and cattleman in Norton County.

He married Anna Margaret Lindblad on April 22, 1941, in New Almelo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Siliq Mindrup; four brothers, Herman, Albert, Henry and John; and two sisters, Philomena and Sister Alphonsa Mindrup.

Survivors include his wife, Anna, of Salina; three sons, Louis and wife Angie of Kansas City, Kan., Gerald of Windom and Donald of Clayton; a sister, Agnes Mindrup of McCook, Neb.; two grandchildren, Erika Spears and Aaron Mindrup; and five great-grandchildren, Brett, Adam, Calib Spears and Quention and Mara Mindrup.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Kerry Ninemire officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Norton City Cemetery, the Rev. Vincent Thulang officiating.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Parish, Salina.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
