Dale R. Musgrove, 82, Salina, died Saturday, October 29, 2005. Mr. Musgrove born March 12, 1923, in Salina. He retired as a master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years, in 1965. He was a Star Route Mail carrier for 10 years. He served in World War II, stationed in North Africa flying missions as bombardier in the B-29 and B-17. He flew 50 missions over Berlin and Germany. He also served in the Korean War. Before his retirement, he worked as an Air Force recruiter in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Survivors include his wife, Edra E., of Salina; two stepsons, Jack Daniel of Denton, Texas, and Richard Jaggers of Salina; a stepdaughter, Judith Pribyl of Seward, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Mausoleum at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and until the service Wednesday at the mortuary. |
