Mrs. Norlin was born Marjorie Marie Rhoades on Feb. 10, 1925, in Salina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1999; a son, Randy Craig Norlin; three sisters, Esther Schappe, Avis Scholten and Charlotte McCabe; and two brothers, Paul Rhoades and Harold Rhoades.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Ann Seel of Auburn; a son, Steven R. of Salina; a sister, Ruth Kennedy of Salina; two grandsons, Scott Seel of Manhattan and Kyle Norlin of the U.S. Army; a great-grandson, Haydn Norlin; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. David Jones officiating.
