Mr. Ostenberg was born May 19, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo. He was a partner in the Thomas-Ostenberg Masonry Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Carlene, of Salina; a son, Ross Ostenberg and wife Lise of Salina; two daughters, Jan Ostenberg of Wichita and Gena Koch and husband Bobby of Salina; and five grandchildren, Abigail Koch, Miles Koch, Barret Koch, Ian Ostenberg and Ryan Ostenberg, all of Salina.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
