Mr. Pickering was born April 21, 1966, in Salina. He worked at Payless Cashways, Sutherlands and Lowe’s Home Improvement, all of Salina.

Survivors include a brother, Brian Pickering of Salina; a sister, Brenda Copp of Salina; his parents, James and LaDonna Pickering, of Salina; a niece, April Debold; a grand-niece, Bailey Debold; and two nephews, Curtis Pickering and Ben Pickering.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina. Inurnment will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
