Mr. Redmond was born Feb. 5, 1949, in Salina. He was a training supervisor for Exide Technologies and recently was a sales clerk for Sears Department Store.

Survivors include his wife, Debra S., of Salina; two sons, Michael of Salina and Christopher of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Ellen Redmond of Salina; his parents, Leslie F. and Lorene Redmond of Billings, Mont.; two brothers, Steve of Billings and Larry of Rapid City, S.D.; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Inurnment will be at a later date.
