Mrs. Reese was born March 21, 1932, in Menlo, to Dale and Ida (Duffey) Ogier. She attended Menlo Consolidated School where she graduated in 1950 as class valedictorian. She was a member of Menlo United Methodist Church. She enjoyed serving as her children’s homeroom mother, on PTA committees and helping with Sunday School and Bible School. She was a follower of all sports and an avid Kansas University basketball fan. She married Dale Reese on Nov. 15, 1952, in Kansas City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Norma Dible.

Survivors include her husband, Dale; a son, Dave Reese and wife Barbara of Bartlesville, Okla.; a daughter, Diane Currie and husband Ralph of Lexington, Ky.; a sister, Janice Imhof and husband Loyde of Colby; and six grandchildren, Parker, Natalie and Thomas Reese, and Rhys, Cameron and Alex Currie.

A private family memorial service will be at Ryan Mortuary. The body was cremated.
