Mr. Reed was born May 26, 1935, in Salina. He owned and operated Central Millwork and Supply, Salina, until his retirement in 1999.

Survivors include his wife, Margie, of the home; a son, Steve Reed of Lindsborg; three daughters, Cathy Hlad of Salina, Debbie Breer of Assaria and Lori Srna of Tescott; two sisters, Marietta Siverling and Bonita Pedersen, both of Salina; and 11 grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, 2508 Belmont Blvd., Salina 67401. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, rural Culver.
