Vera M. Reh, 92, Salina, died Tuesday, February 1, 2005. Mrs. Reh was born Vera M. Snyder on Feb. 12, 1912, in Saline County. Mrs. Reh was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie, in 1983; a brother, Edward Snyder, in 1982; a grandson, Gregory Owen; and a great-granddaughter, Devin Reh. She was a homemaker and an elementary school teacher in the Brookville area. Survivors include a son, John and wife Judy of Salina; two daughters, Maxine Owen and husband Bernie of Arlington, Texas, and Corrine Sidener and husband Ron of Leawood; a brother, George of Omaha, Neb.; grandchildren, Jeff and Kirk Reh, Steve and Mitch Owen, Drew and Jeremy Sidener and Elaine Edwards; and great-grandchildren, Allison and Michael Edwards, Bryce Reh, Nicole and Michelle Owen, Zelda and Harper Sidener and Kayla Owen. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Church of Bennington. Burial will be in Bennington Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Salina Child Care Association or Drury Place, Salina. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, and prior to the service at the church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. |
