Mr. Stevens was born Nov. 13, 1922, in White River, S.D. He was construction superintendent for Busboom-Rauh Construction for more than 35 years, retiring in 1985.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice A., in 1980; and his second wife, Lila M., in 2003.

Survivors include a son, Mark D. Stevens of Salina; a stepson, Bert Benjamin of Chico, Calif., two stepdaughters, Bonnie A. Thomason of Solomon and Belinda L. Knipp of Wichita; two brothers, Argus Stevens of Topeka and Francis Stevens of Sun City, Ariz.; two grandchildren; 15 stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
