Phannitta Fazel Brugger, 74, Salina, died Monday, August 21, 2006. Mrs. Brugger was born Feb. 27, 1932, in New Cambria, the daughter of Samuel Arthur Bolby and the former Stella Irene Kurtz. She was a restaurant cook and bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Danny Fazel in 1998 and Bruce Brugger in 2002; and two daughters, Robin Fazel in 2001 and Carolyn Beard in 2003. Survivors include three sons, Danny Fazel Jr. and David Fazel and wife Lanny, all of Salina, and Floyd Fazel and wife Sherry of Mesquite, Texas; two daughters, Angela Self and husband Dennis and Lori Brown and husband Jon, all of Salina; a brother, Floyd Bolby of Salina; five sisters, Lorraine Beach and Doris Ball, both of Salina, Neysa Toner of Garden City, Vivian Anderson of Duluth, Minn., and Stella Ruth Homolka of Puyallup, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Bennington Cemetery, Bennington. Memorials may be made to Tammy Walker Cancer Center. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. |
