Mrs. Gooden was born Elsie Nered on April 2, 1919, in Omaha, Neb. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lou E.

Survivors include two sons, Greg of Salina and Charles of Branson, Mo.; a daughter, Elaine of Spokane, Wash.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
