Mrs. Hoesli was born Eleanor Mary Hess in Clay County Kansas on Aug. 7, 1916. She attended Kansas University, graduated from Kansas State University and earn her masters degree from the University of Wisconsin. She was a teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Hoesli Sr., and her son, Gregory Hoesli.

Survivors include a son, Hank H. Hoesli and wife Sally of Wichita; a daughter, Etoys Rice and husband Rex of Delphos; a brother, Harry Lewis Hoesli and wife Elaine of Atlanta GA; four sisters, Alma Maga of Scottsdale AZ, Agnes Toone and husband Tommy of Little Rock Ark., Bernardine Baltis of Prairie Village KS and Connie Parker of Ravena TX; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Salina 67401. Private inurnment will take place in the Delphos Cemetery, Delphos, at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to the church.

There will be no viewing/visitation. The body was cremated.
