Mrs. Hoyle was born Charlotte C. Mayfield on May 10, 1915, in Carneiro, the daughter of Elijah M. and Alice Gertrude (Itzen) Mayfield. She was the executive secretary to the president of First National Bank, Salina. She married Alden L. Hoyle on Oct. 17, 1947, in Salina. He died in 1994.

Survivors include a niece, Jana Riddle of Roeland Park; and special friends, Karyn and Madison “Mac” Ashburn and Deanna and Chuck Morgan, all of Salina.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Home, Lindsborg.

Visitation will be Tuesday at the mortuary.
