Mrs. Klein was born Waltraut Schuller on May 20, 1921, in Erlanger, Germany. She was a retired registered nurse and homemaker. She loved to go on ocean cruises and had been on more than 25.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, in 1979; and a son, Charles, in 1986.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Lindsay of Augusta, Maine; two grandchildren, Jerry and Terisa Lindsay; and three great-grandchildren, Laura Springer, Isabelle Lindsay and Kristeena Guess.

A celebration reception will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Eaglecrest Retirement Community, 1501 E. Magnolia, Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
