Mrs. McPhail was born Mildred Montana Percival on June 13, 1916, in Winifred, Mont., the daughter of Glen E. and Catheran L. (McFall) Percival. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, in 2002; her parents; a sister, Ruth Schafer; and two brothers, Glen Percival Jr. and Kearney Percival.

Survivors include a son, Rick of Sapulpa, Okla.; three sisters, Nadeen Kernhan and Jeanice Mullen, both of Salina, and Winnie Bliss of Erie, Pa.; and a grandson.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Church of the Cross United Methodist Church, 1600 Rush, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m.
