Mrs. Pilcher was born Margaret M. Betterson on Oct. 29, 1909, in Bennington. She was a homemaker and worked as a sales clerk for Anthony’s Department Store, Salina, for more than 25 years.

She was married to Earl V. Pilcher on Jan. 15, 1920, in Ellsworth.

She was a member of Salina Rebecca Lodge and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, in 1963.

Survivors include a son, Donald L. and wife Catherine of Beverly; a daughter, Jeanne A. Huscher and husband Ezra J. of Salina; four grandchildren, Daniel Pilcher, Charles Huscher and wife Leanne, Jay Huscher and wife Mitch, and Kevin Huscher and wife Peggy; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy Huscher, Ezra L. Huscher and Jason Huscher; one stepgrandchild, Patty Disney; four stepgreat-grandchildren, Jeremy McMichael, Jeffrey McMichael, Travis Disney and Timothy Disney; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren, Mary McMichael and Secandra McMichael.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
