Mr. Robinson was born Dec. 2, 1943, in Dallas. He worked as a fabricator for Raytheon Aircraft for more than 12 years.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a sergeant in the First Infantry Division.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruthanna Robinson, in 2000.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Robinson and Gwen Rupp, both of Salina, and Lisa Robinson of Redding, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Karyn Crowder of Salina; his father, Harry, of Olathe; a sister, Julie and husband Capt. Al Ross of St. Augustine, Fla.; a fishing buddy, Thomas Mitchell of Salina; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina or C.L.C. of Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
