Mr. Rowan was born Christopher Alan Rowan on April 4, 1980, in Orange, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy, of Salina; his parents, Ray A. Rowan and wife, Martha, of Salina and Jeannette Preuss of Texas; two brothers, Byron Alft of Alabama and Stacy Hilldebrandt of Texas; two sisters, Reylene Thull and husband Phillip of Fort Riley and Shawna Preuss of Texas and his grandparents, Merle and Linda Rowan of Salina and Scott and Janice Parsons of Washington State.

A memorial graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, in Highland Cemetery, New Cambria.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.

Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, is handling arrangements.
