Mrs. Stannard was born Geraldine F. Chapman on June 6, 1920, in St. Louis. She married William A. Stannard on Aug. 15, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ Cathedral, Salina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A., in 1987; a brother, William Chapman; and her mother, Juanita Chapman.

Survivors include a son, William G. and wife Susan M., of Mission Woods; two daughters, Susan K. Stannard of Frankfort and Elaine Siefker and husband Dwight of Salina; and two grandchildren, Michael Vallis and Andrew Stannard.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina, the Rev. Canon Bruce E. LeBarron officiating.

Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.

There will be no visitation.
