Mrs. Swenson was born Leanna J. Lehman on June 24, 1940, in Salina. She was a clerk for 45 years at First National Bank, Salina, retiring in 2000. She also worked for a small weekly newspaper in Loves Park, Ill.

She graduated from Brown Mackie Business College, Salina. She was a member of Gypsum United Methodist Church. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts and hobbies and was active in PTA, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice D. and Ila M. Lehman.

Survivors include two sons, Mark and Steve, both of Salina; a brother, Donald and wife Gretchen Lehman of Lawrence; and a sister, Lucile Alldaffer of Wichita.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Gypsum Cemetery, Gypsum.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
