Mr. Brown was born September 28, 1909 in New Cambria. He managed a grain elevator in New Cambria, worked for Jo-Mar dairy, Kansas grain inspection and in later years was the custodian of Peace Lutheran Church. He lived his entire life in New Cambria and held various city positions there.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Lizzie Belle (DeLaney) Brown; two brothers, Elroy and Harold Brown and a sister, Ina Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Josephine Gruber Brown of the home; three sons, Raymond of New Cambria, Erwin and his wife Cora, and Donald, all of Salina; a sister, Grace Brown of Salina; eight grand children; twelve great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church, New Cambria. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, New Cambria.

Visitation and viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church.
