Mr. Freeman was born Aug. 4, 1950, in Salina, Kan. He received a Bachelor of Arts in theater from Drake University and a Master of Arts in theater from Fort Hays State University. He was a Oklahoma University fan, gardener and cat lover.

He is preceded in death by his adoptive father, Dr. Raymond Savageau Freeman; his father, Ralph Arthur Smith Jr.; a brother, Eric; and a sister, Ann.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa, of Oklahoma City; four brothers, William Bradley II of Des Moines, Iowa, Raymond Jr. and wife Jenny of Englewood, Colo.; Scott and wife Cassi of Leawood, Kan., and Peter and wife Gail Rich of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; and his mother, Babette S. Freeman, of Salina.

A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Christ Cathedral Episcopal Church, Salina, with the Very Rev. Jerry S. Jones officiating. Inurnment will be in Christ Cathedral Episcopal Church Columbariam.

Memorials may be made to the Salina Community Theatre, Ray & Babette Student Nursing Scholarship-Salina Regional Heath Center or the church.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
