Mrs. Gile was born Georgia Srna on March 11, 1922, in Delphos. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey M.; a brother, Emmett; and two sisters, Barbara Srna and Anna Smith.

Survivors include two sons, Robert and wife Joyce and Jim and wife JoAnn, all of Salina; two daughters, Mary Edwards and husband Carey of Salina and Donna "Susie" Tope and husband Kelly of Solomon; eight grandchildren, Kristi Copas, Kay Gile, Brian and Kari Owens, Jody Robinson, Daniel and Andy Tope, and Jaime McIntyre; and eight great-grandchildren, Taylor and Kaci Copas, Chiara, Cai and Cooper Robinson, Jenna Owens, Jeremy Sterling and Mitchell Tope.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Salina.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
