Mr. Kennedy was born May 27, 1953, in Salina. He worked at Wal-Mart in Salina.

Survivors include a son, Stephan Franz of Idaho; his mother, Rhoda Kennedy, of Salina; and a brother, Jim of Salina.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Faith Assembly of God of Salina or the American Heart Association.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
