Mr. Lantz was born Sept. 3, 1929, in rural Lincoln County. He was a mechanic for Bennett Pontiac, retiring after 30 years.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles and Albina; a daughter, Sharon Lantz; a grandchild, Zachary; five brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Kenny and wife Linda of Milford and Dan and wife Christal of Salina; two daughters, Marlene Dame of Salina and Kristi Gayle and husband Stephen of Warren, Mich.; a sister, Della Deatherage and husband Don of Salina; six grandchildren, Jeff and Summer Dame, Chris, Jacob and Stephanie Lantz, and Cathy Beasley; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. A private burial will be in Lucas Cemetery, Lucas.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
