Mr. McBride was born Oct. 20, 1943, in Salina. He owned and operated the Silver Bullet Tavern. He was a finish carpenter and did commercial construction for Wilson and Company. He lived in San Diego during the 1960s and worked for City Chevrolet.He loved to fish and camp and restored cars and trucks. He was a Jeff Gordon Nascar fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Foster and Virginia (Hays) McBride; and a brother, Wayne.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly, of Salina; a son, Larry Jr. of Ramona, Calif.; a daughter, Jane Flynn and husband Gary of San Diego; and three grandchildren, Joshua McBride and Erin and Sean Flynn.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
